GARBAGE WATER! Pours dark, goes down smooth, but has that smoky taste that I really dont like. In contrast, my better half would describe it as: rich, velvety, malty, chocolatey, and smooth, with a faint truffle taste. Also, our bottle says its 7.1%, which is way more than the 5.9% it says here. Nice for sipping while you make curry for your lover to some smooth balearic jams.

Poured into a tulip glass, dark brown with light carbonation and cocoa aroma. Medium bodied, taste starts chocolate malt with harsh chemical bitter tail end. Not awful but not competitive against top notch chocolate stouts.

Tap to finish off a flight. Deep dark brown with small head. Nose is rich chocolate mouse. Tastes amazingly like a rich chocolate truffle and not much else. And like a truffle I feel best in moderation just the 4oz will do me. Very rich.

Super chocolate right upfront in aroma and taste. Slight milky scent also. Taste has some malts and light nutty flavor with the cocoa. Almost hazelnut. Bottle

Thin dark brown pour, minimal tan head, not much lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and bitter chocolate. I was expecting this to be sweeter but it has a moderately bitter finish. For the most part its a pretty decent beer, it needs to be a bit thicker and maybe kick the ABV up a bit. My thanks to Sharon in CT. for dragging this half way across the country!

Bottle in Brooklyn. Opaque black color, small beige head. Aroma has quite delicious chocolate. Medium-bodied. Very chocolaty flavor, not artifical-like. Some coffee too. Just needs more ABV boost.

Too thin for a stout. Too sour up front. Don't have a lot to say. Chocolate I guess. I taste the truffle. But I wouldn't but it again. Unfortunately it's a six pack. Oh well. I'll give it away, not special. Weak. Not good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Adam, Prince of Mogadishu, and the Nairobi mafia. Thank you, your royal highness, for getting me to 100 Connecticut ratings without having to actually set foot in the state again. Completely black color, large dark brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of rich dark milk chocolate. Taste is sweet Hersheys syrup. Medium to light body. Tasty enough.

Deep chocolate aroma, dark with a strong tan head. Smooth, very chocolatey. Roasty malt with a hint of coffee and toast beneath that. Not overly creamy.
