Can pour- pours hazy yellow with thin head and nice sticky latticing. Pungent aromas of tropical fruit, citra is apparent. Tropical fruit explosion on the tongue. Good ole citra hop is front and center, bitter but not overwhelmingly bitter. Hop bitterness finishes before the fruit does. Refreshing. Highly recommend this NE IPA.

Can. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit, earth, pine. Medium body, melon, earth, dank, lingering bitterness, very good.

Pours a 1 finger, off-white, bubbly head. Juicy gold orange color with nice lava splatter lace. Medium body with ample carbonation. Big citra hops, pine needles, pithy orange and grassy. Not a total juice bomb or I should say not as juicy as it looks, but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Oh new england style ipas... this one isnt bad. Really cloudy pale beer with minimal head. Aroma is fruity hops, grassy, and a bit yeasty. Taste is melon, grapefruit, pineapple, grass, and a bit vegetal. Fine beer.

Takeaway: it’s a serviceable, easy to find NE IPA. If anyone comes in from out of the area, it’s a strong ambassador beer for CT. Other Thoughts: -it’s similar to an IPA from Treehouse or Trilium, but in the way that a really skilled home brewer with the recipe is. -orange, cloudy juice bomb with the aromatics exploding up front then calming down and virtually disappearing a few minutes later. -it’s getting a lot of hype right now, I think it earns most of it.

12oz can in a shaker. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrusy and lightly grassy hops, pale malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. The hops are a little grassy and bitter, and there is a graininess to it that isnt pleasing.

12oz can from a six pack. Pours.... well, you know the drill... very cloudy. Nice OJ aroma. Mouthfeel is light and tingly. Good amount of head. Taste is fruit juice, mainly OJ, but slightly dry. Some lemon tartness and tangerene. Didn’t taste the mosaic hops in this one. Very mild bitterness. Solid NE IPA. Not great, but good. Definitely a step or two below Tired Hands and a few other breweries that specialize in the style. But worth trying.
