Bottle at ACBF ’11. Orange amber colour with thin ivory head. It’s like a dry pale ale. VEry bitter on finish. Some orange fruits. Bit grassy. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2011
On cask at the Euston Tap on 4 December 2010. I was really looking forward to this beer but have to say it was a bit disappointing to say the least. Green apple in the aroma. Rather musty on the palate. Didn’t seem in very good condition. Not sure I had this at the same time as the others who gave it a positive rating. Must try to get hold of a bottle to re-rate. Default score in the meantime.

Bottle. Deep gold with a firm white foam. Aromas are caramel base malts with sandalwood perfume, pineapple and lemon. Spiced oranges with melon and bready yeast. Clean and hoppy with woody aspects and apricot. Flavours are very dry woody hops with sweet mixed fruits. Mainly dry with grapefruit bitterness and some pine. Herbal and perfumed with peppery alcohol. Good yet somehow fleeting - therefore demanding another mouthful. fonefan (51064) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2011
