Cask Conditioned handpump Mr Foleys Leeds. A chestnut coloured bert with a big whtish head and lacing. Jammy fruit abounds. Very malty. Some hedgerow hoppiness. A big chewy, perhaps over chewy body. Good bitterness at the end. It’s OK but nowt special. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 27, 2011

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2011. Pours a clear and brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel, fruit and biscuit. The flavor follows the nose with additional sweetness. The palate is sweetness with some bitterness. Overall an average beer. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2011

Borefts Beer Festival 3. Clear brown beer, residual white head. Dry palate. A little caramel malt. Lots of bitter hops. Why there is some floralness there isn’t to much hop fruit. Dry finish with a long bitter linger. Ok but it’s too skewed towards bitterness for me.
