Cask. Dolce, caramellosa, abbastanza corposa. Una birra fantastica, tra le migliori mai bevute. Leighton (21489) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2010
Cask at The Euston Tap. Pours clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Super malty on the nose, with toffee and chestnuts, some light booze, and honey. Very sweet, with a strong honey and chestnut character. Sugars are highly attenuated and the mellowed effect is wonderful. The alcohol is present in body and mild warmth but not very much in the flavor. Full in body with fine carbonation and a smooth, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Finishes sweet, very malty, with mild bread, heavy honey and toffee and more chestnuts. Just the faintest hint of earthy bitterness. Fantastic overall. Great beer. fonefan (49554) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2010

Cask (gravity) @ Thornbridge Brewery, Derbyshire, England.
Light unclear medium orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dried fruit, prune, date, dried, light alcohol, initial light good oxidide notes. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, date, prune, dried berries, raisin, alcohol warm. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Great balance .. Huge Thx. for letting me taste this lovely nice beer ;O))
Boreft Beer Festival 2011: Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of raisin, dried apricot, vanilla and a touch of highland scotch. Sweetish rich and fruity flavour, with vanilla, vineous alcohol and notes of rhum or scotch KnutAlbert (6753) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2009
Bottle from beermerchants. Complex, vinous, a bit rough edged. Funky.
This will probably develop wonderfully, even without any oak aging.

(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 25 Nov 2010) Mahogany colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, raisins, molasses and slightly rubbery, earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of raisins, prunes, dried fruit, caramel and a warming, vinous finish with a mild, earthy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet and vinous. Very nice and tasty. Vibrant light rose, clean greasy head. Firm sweetness with a soft, spring of cloy that slips a little of the age on behind the booze burn. Clean rift of a malt shoulder towards the finish. Silky throughout, graceful mouth-feel with only that wee snip on the age/ABV. Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 25, 2009
Bottle, Flu Jab Tasting
Bottle, at the tasting at the Rake, 17th Jan 09, with harrisoni and chriso. Very malty but with a good range of fruit and melon flavours and a softness that keeps it drinkable. Great balance. Fin (10609) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2010
Cask at the Euston Tap, London 01.12.10. Once I got over the initial shock of shelling out £4.50 for a half, I rather enjoyed this beer. I was talking to the barman about Thorbridge matters and mentioned the Coach & Horses, Dronfield only for one of the other four customers in the place to say ’bloody hell, I can’t get away from the place’ I spent 20 mins then chatting to James the new landlord of the pub and his two friends, who’d come down to London for the day and were meeting Kelly later on at the Euston Tap. Back to the beer, well for 3 years of age on it, it was holding up really well, sweet, warming quite heavy at times. There was fruity with orange showing, warmth flooding through from the alcohol was actually quite welcoming on such a cold day. My notes were rather sketchy as I spent too much time chatting to those nice folks from Yorkshire. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 Ungstrup (37885) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2011
Cask. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet wtih notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry and alcoholic finish.
