Cask @ 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.
Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dusty coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, dry, coffee - dusty coffee, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bark, humous, licorice and dades, but mildly so. Very light body without the carbonation to balance. Light bitterness. Okay. (On tap at Borefts 2012 - rating moved from Black Harry)

On tap at Borefts BF 2012, Bodegraven. Pours clear, brown-gold with a fine, white head. Dirt, toasty malts and earth in the nose. Light sweet flavor with dark, doughy bread, light dirty bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweetness to finish, some further dirt and earth. One-dimensional (in typical mild fashion) but a decent beverage. 77ships (9790) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 3, 2012
Cask @ Borefts 2012. Black with nearly no head. Smell is rather weird mellow sweet roast blended with some berries, lactose, dark fruits and tad bread. Sweet, lightly watery with citrus, fruity, white grapes hops, burned malts, light roast, some sweet mocha, lightly burned bread, dark berries. Somewhat watery - rather peculiar mate. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Cask @ Borefts 2012 . The pour’s deep brown with a tiny off-white head. The nose is soft lactose sweetness, some brown bread, honey comb and some chocolate powder. The taste is chocolate malts, light toasted nuts and mild hints of soy sauce. Toasted grains. Smooth and drinkable, though a bit watery. Overall, this is actually quite decent for what it is. Very good flavor out of just 2.9% ABV. A very different beer at a festival dominated by heavy, smoky brews. joergen (28106) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 4, 2012
