Pale gold with a light haze frog spawn head. Fuddy cereal straw head a tad metallic but heavily hopped English style. Lovely wholesome cereals lovely toastiness mingling with lightly citric hops and a sweet toffee fudge finish. A really great session that drys the top of the mouth a tiny bit too much but is otherwise perfect.

Golden with a small white head. Fruity aroma with pear and just a hint of butter. Dry and fruity with good hop flavour, and a lasting bitterness thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 20, 2009

GBBF, Trade Day, 2008 Cask. Mmmm. Very nice. Smooth and gently sweet and juicy malt with a pleasing hop zing. Lovely beer. My last of GBBF 2008.

Cask, 4.4% at GBBF08. The flavour is slightly peppery as if it were stronger in alcohol. Other than that, there is nothing to say. SaintMatty (7481) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - AUG 11, 2008
Cask (GBBF 2008) - Golden in colour. Light hoppy aroma with a bit of malt. Watery and thin at first, you can then detect some grapefruit and lemon. Fairly refreshing but has the potential to be much better. KimJohansen (10511) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2008
Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet aroma. Sweet fruity flavor with a mild bitter end. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 7, 2008
Cask. Golden colour with small head, which leaves some lace. Flavour is citrusy and quite much of caramel and mild notes of not-too-sweet honey. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild spicyness coming in as well as a nice grassy bitter dry finish. wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2008
Bottle, from Brewery, Derbs. Golden colour; thin white head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Citrus fruit flavours. Clean and refreshing with a nice bite and pleasing dry bitter finish. A definite country gent of a beer from the manor house.
