Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, lending it a bit of acidity combined with something funky. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and soy sauce, and again somethin funky, leading to a dry roasted finish. joergen (28391) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2011

20th December 2008. Champagne yeast in here as well! Thick black beer with a chocolate brown head. Dark roasty stout flavours offset by a nice silky smoothness that is very slightly sweet. Riding alongside is a pronounced nuttyness. Slightly bitter dry finish with a warming afterglow. An imperial chesnut stout?!
