Cask at angleterre. Cloudy yellow body? Totally different than other ratings, white head. Aroma has bit honey, sweet malt, detergent. At this point I got new pint. So the new one: same cloudy yellow, white head. Aroma is floral, bit rhubarbish acidic light maltiness. Strange notes, familiar but cant get just what it is. Bit on the belowmaverage just because cant get hold of what is happening. Different though. RexTalionis (3798) - FINLAND - AUG 5, 2014
Cask. Clear golden, small head. Citrus, summer meadow and herbal notes in aroma. Sweetish honey with some floral notes in taste. Hints of spicyness and bitterness in finish. mjs (7685) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 1, 2014
(Cask at Angleterre, 20140801) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, spices, flowerness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The spiciness induced by elderflowers took me by surprise. They didn’t spoil the aroma but messed up the flavours. HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - SEP 1, 2013
August 28, 2013 - on draught at Euston Tap. Clear and refractive light brassy gold with a smallish bubbly white head. Golden ale aroma (heather ’n honey) with extra honey sweetness and a bit of an acetone overtone to it. Taste follows; balanced, like a golden ale/bitter combo, honey, heather, straw and very light caramel sweetness, no alcohol. Light slick mouthfeel, mild carbonation, a medium finish with a slight amount of burnt harshness in the aftertaste - decent enough, I guess.
