Bottle @ ACBF 2012: dark brown to light black with a tanned head, smells like coffee, touch roasted chocolate malts, caramel & light indefinable berries; tastes like medium bitter coffee, chocolate malts, dark fruits, light roasted malts, touch chocolate, finish touch fruity & cold coffee, I can also pick out touch light berries among the fruits, if you are looking for blueberries, you can get it but no real definite blackberries, medium bodied, quite good but expecting lots of lackberries, tad letdown in that department Fin (10908) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2012
Bottle from the Brewery, Bakewell, Derbyshire consumed at Bacup, Lancashire, Friday 06.04.12 in company of Loz, Nigel, Katy, Mark & Kathy at the Bacup Coco-Nutters weekend. Tangy and fruity with a definite blast of hedgerow fruits, not sure that I would have instantly got the Blackberries but knowing they are there you do tend to notice the impact that they have. Touch roasty and just plenty of dark fruits also showing, decent beer with a great tang. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7 sebletitje (10293) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAR 4, 2012
Bottle @ ACBF 2012, Moen.
Cuivrée, col fin beige.
Arôme est fruité de mûres le tout dans un bouquet fruité qui est un peu faible. Note maltée aussi à noter.
