COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Single hopped Australian pale ale. A new beer fom the team here at Thornbridge “Galaxia”. The name might suggest it’s from the stars but it refers to this being a single hopped pale ale – a beer brewed to showcase the Australian hop variety Galaxy. Caolan Vaughan our resident antipodean says ”Using our fantastic pale ale recipe allows this stunning hop to transform this beer into a pleasurable experience in a glass - one for all hop lovers”. The Galaxy hop imparts striking beautiful aromas of mango, guava and grapefruit. While providing an intensely tingling bitter finish.

[email protected] Pub, Vaasa (backlog). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy, floral, some herbs and mild spicy notes with some sweet malts to it as well. Flavour is very similar, with a quite crisp maltiness and also a nice bitter bite to the finish of it.

jamestulloch (4109) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 2, 2016
Keg at The Stockbridge Tap. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head that fades. Steady carbonation. Very faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, lime zest and vine tomatoes. Flavour of lemon, melon and minerals. Thin body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Incredibly refreshing - more crisp and citric than I was expecting for a Galaxy-hopped beer. I could drink a lot of this.

thomat (3860) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2016
Bottle. Pale cloudy yellow with a small white head. Fruity and flowery tones. Fruit, hops, flowers and bitterness. Medium body with a long bitter / fruity finish.

beer-yum (1710) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 31, 2016
Restrained tropical citrus fruit aroma in a yellow straw pour. Nicely balanced brew with a big caramel body that is surprising (for the strength). Single hop beers are not always the best - but this one is a winner (and made even better by its sessionability).
