Mooi goudblond licht troebel bier met parelende witte schuimkraag die langzaamaan inzakt tot fijn laagje. Zeer veel citrus in de neus. Verder hooi, hop, gerst. Smaken van citroen, limoen, ananas, beetje druif. Goeie hopbitterheid, licht harsig. Licht gistig, zowel in de neus als in de mond. Prima ipa.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2017 Caña en el lupulo Oviedo 02..04..2017. (r668). Color amarillento transparente dorado con espuma blanca. Sabores suaves maltosos dulces bastante afrutados con toques finales herbaceos secos algo resinosos que dejan suave amargo. Ligeras levaduras. Cuerpo ligero a medio algo líquido y fácil de beber. No está mal de podría repetir.

Kiebab (15) - Braniewo, POLAND - MAR 24, 2017
Bottle at home. White quickly disappearing head leaving nice lacing. Golden pale and bit hazy in colour. Aromas of oranges, grapefruits and melon mixing with lemons and grapefruit in flavour. This beer is really dry but bitterness compensating lack of sweet notes in it. Overall very drinkable beer, one of the best double IPAs/Imperial IPAs ever had.

Davros IX (329) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2017
Bottle at home. A very nice double IPA that firmly sits on the bitter side of this beer type. A taste of citrus peel and pine that gave a very pleasing drinking experience. It had a strong mouthfeel and richness and a low level of carbonation. This is a beer that is complemented by food and a world a way from the sweet and fruity double IPAs from other brewers.

tricksta_p (4555) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - MAR 19, 2017
Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is fruity hops, lots of citrus, notes of stone fruits, tropical, soft pale malt, light pine with a mild touch of floral. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Medium bodied. Lovely fruity IPA, good balance and tons of citrus.

Towey1989 (2701) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemongrass, orange, grapefruit, some melon, slight marijuana/grass, a hint of pale malts and subtle herbal hops. Taste of lemon, orange, grapefruit, some melon, pine, slight grass, a little caramel, a hint of straw and subtle herbal hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, slightly dank, citrus and herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Another superb, hoppy pale from thornbridge. Lots of citrus and grassy, herbal hop bitterness with a good balance of sweet malts and subtle fruit. It isn’t the most complex strong IPA but as expected, so well made. Very enjoyable.

PapaVillum (943) - Valby, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2017
---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nikokaoja (244) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - FEB 16, 2017
16. 2. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled, pre T2. Bery fruity aroma and heavily hopped up taste, which is not to long lasting. Interesting use of hops which prevail in mouthful dominance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

FinnIckler (419) - GERMANY - FEB 14, 2017
Bottle from savereur-biere.com. No bottling date, I’m guessing September - October 2016. Pours light yellow. Nose is citrus, lemon grass, floral, bubblegum, melon, faint apple. Palate has lost some of it’s edge, but still a decent balance of fruity apricot, apple, grapefruit and bitterness. Good, have to drink this fresh some day.
