500ml bottle thanks very much to madmitch76 for throwing this beauty in as a bonus. 2008 harvest. Pours a hazy orange with yellow hue, medium off white head, minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, slight floral, pine, grass, and yeast. I started drinking this before I read the description, so first tastes were a bit of a shock. Once I read the label, I realized exactly what I was drinking. This is quite a nice brew. Wet hopped, bottle conditioned with saison yeast, giving it a pretty unique character. Hop profile is very flavorful and enjoyable, slight tartness from the yeast, and a nice malt backbone for some balance. Mouthfeel is slightly slick and finishes slightly dry and bitter. Very nice.

Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Hoppy aroma and a good bitter taste of lime, grapefruit, pineapple and pine needles. A good citrussy APA with lots of character and and a good balance, better than many examples of this style.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2017 Supermarket bottle. Hazy yellow with a big white head. Grapefruit and orange aroma continues in the taste then the pine kicks in. Nice IPA.

Bottle from JK Fine Foods. It’s hazy light and yellow gold in colour. It has a fantastic fluffy white head. The aromas are fruity like orange juice with a light touch of peach. Then comes a little fudge and mild earth quality. When it comes to the tasing the light fruitiness is quickly overtaken by a dry herbal wave. It’s fresh medium bodied with a refreshing sharp sparkle. It’s all so drinkable. A superb refreshingly clean big IPA that tricks you with an abv that’s slowly builds from the dry herbal warmth as you travel down the glass. Super stuff from Thornbridge.

De perfil herbal con algo de cítricos y resina. Bastante suave y equilibrada, con final ligeramente amargo. NO la catalogaría como Imperial IPA. De lo mejor de esta cervecera. Muy buena. BB 25/05/2018.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma has lots of citrus fruits, very lemony and orangey, with a solid bready backbone. Taste follows the nose, lemon, lime, orange, tangerine and biscuit are very predominant. Moderate bitter ending to it.
