Cask at Borefts 2012. A black beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, alcohol, and soynsauce, as well as light notes of tar and honey, leading to a dry roasted finish. gyllenbock (9878) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 29, 2013
Sample at SBWF 2013.
Black with a creamy tan head. Roasted malt, chocolate, some honey, raisin and notes of wood. Rather oily mouthfeel and with a long aftertaste. A nice one.

Bottle. Black with a small head. Not as much body as you would expect for its strength. Smooth with chocolate and liquorice present. Another superb beer from this brewery.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is an inky black beer that pours with a quickly disappearing brown head. It has very rich chocolate, coffee and smoked flavours, sweet honey notes and more smoked malt on the finish. SUPERB! TET (3210) - Kaarina, FINLAND - AUG 30, 2013
A black beer with a very big and beautiful coloured, brown head. At first, a nose is strongly honey, sweet, roastiness, liquirice and some fruits. After the first mouthfull, the honey is not so dominating anymore, and the aroma is more balanced. The taste is powerfull and strongly roasted, lots of salt liquirice, honey. Also tar and smoke with herbal hops in the end. Full bodied that is lighten with a strong, but smooth carbonation. The unique IS with a lots of honey. jonnyguns (1106) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 16, 2013
Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a very thick pitch black whit lovely dark tan head. Looks insane. Nose is smoky oak, sweetness from the heather honey, a little bit of coffee and dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is incredibly full, such a rich beer. Taste is upfront with espresso like coffee, powdered chocolate, heather honey and maybe some dark fruit. What a great beer.
