Cask. Hazy gold with a firm head. Aroma is thin biscuit. Flavour is soapy, citrus hop, a little biscuit cake on a dry dusty hop finish. Dry bitter palate. Gets better as you drink it.

(Cask at St. Urho’s Pub, 20131102) The beer poured deep golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized, sparse and white. Aroma had sweet hops, biscuits and malts. Palate was light bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A weak and thin pale ale.

Cask at Black Door. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, peach, hops, mandarin and a bit soapy aroma. Bitter finish with citrus, hops and grass. Good real ale, albeit it has very light body.

Cask @ The Bath Hotel, Sheffield [161013]
Light blonde, cystal clear, white bubbly head, some lacing
Aroma - Light fruity hops, light pale malts, slight lemon
Taste - light fruits, soft light sweet caramel pale malts, touch of lemon, little in the way of hops, easy going but lacklustre
Palate - Light body, some oiliness. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - An ordinary golden ale, not up to Thornbridge’s usual standards, but plenty of pints of it being sold here, obviously they are brewing this to demand. Very yeah yeah yeah for me

Tap(@Cask, Pub&Kitchen, Pimlico):Golden, a bit hazy, small persistent (off-)white head, dryish - rather herbal - hoppy nose with some kind of rural aromas; dry to bone dry bitter flavour, quite light bodied; citrussy-hoppy taste in the lingering dry bitter and slightly sweet finish. O.K. …

Cask (Kuikka, Helsinki)
Simple sweetish malty English beer aroma, some black tea. Flat palate, carbonation low. Gold, tiny head. Watery, feels flat. Simple popcorny grains, some spicy hops almost peppery. A bit of a damp squib, but not bad.

Theydon_Bois (19808) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2013
Cask at Craft Clerkenwell, 06/08/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is soft citrus fruits, orange, grass, light grapefruit. Taste comprises mandarin, light orange pith, sugars, soft dough, hint of caramel, tea leaves. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with subtle hop bitterness. Ok simple enough pale affair.

Cask, CBC Brixton. Slightly cloudy pale orange. No head, little carbonation if any at all. Hoppy floral aroma, pleasant. Not big on flavour. Hops, very mild malt and slight bitterness make it a very easy drinking summer session ale. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Scopey (14992) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2013
Cask at The Lyric, Soho. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head. The nose is earth, floral, earth, hay, tangy lime and biscuit. The taste is biscuit, floral, grass, light lingering bitterness, grain, wood and faint lime with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy drinking, but not a whole lot going on. Ok.

Half at Victoria, Brum. Busy inside so stood outside in industrial surroundings which I kinda like. My Peroni loving mate was waffling on about something dull and I was dreaming of my bed. Bitter when what I wanted was something refreshing but you can’t blame the beer for that. I got confused at the bar. My mate had Titantic stout which he seemed to enjoy. I’m looking forward to coming back here with Bish and Dan and having a good chat. The train beckoned and I needed to take photos of street furniture in the dark.
