Cask (handpull) at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby. What do you do when you run out of the usual hops for your award-winning IPA? You shove another one in and give it a different name. And I suppose I should be able to tell you which hops have switched - they usually use the one that makes you go ’mmmmmm’ and instead used the one that makes you go ’ooooooooh’. That aside, it’s Jaipur all right; fantastic hoppy nose, solid shining gold, a dry finish...and they call it Monsoon! Oh, the irony... DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2007
