Cask, keg & bottle; Regular.

A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

On tap. Interesting. I just spent a while in the UK searching for good local beers and didn't see this. Hoppy but light. Good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice IPA, well balanced blend of citrusy sweetness and hoppiness. Golden pour with healthy head.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2013 Cask at the eagle. Slightly hazy straw colour. Great aroma, fruity and hoppy. Always a lovely drop. Rich, fruity, sticky, slightly boozy and so hoppy. A winner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

espenra (1015) - Kurland, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2013
50cl bottle from Systembolaget. It poured a slightly pale golden colour with a medium big white foamy head that setted down fast in the glass. Aroma is medium hoppy. Notes of citrus, pine and some honey. Flavour is medium bitter with a decent amount of hops, citrus and pine. Not much honey at first, but after a while the honey shows up. Medium long bitterness. A bit disappointing really as I had read alot about this beer and was expecting more from the aroma and flavour although it’s far from a bad IPA.

On draught. Light, clear copper with a small head that disappears almost entirely leaving a little lacing. Pretty indistinct aroma. Sweet light grain to begin, followed by fruit - gooseberry, peach and citrus. A long, refreshing bitter finish. Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. We’ll balanced and very nice.

500ml. Small white head. Clear light color. Aroma of honey, flowers and apple. Taste is hops, rose leaves with a hint of chalk. Not too much here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mortlach (2355) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 8, 2013
09/06/2013 Birrifugio Trastevere (tap). Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Non freschissima forse, ma apprezzabile.

Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is floral and citrussy. Some white grape, zest, grass and piney notes. Taste is lemony, grapefruit, dry white grape, melon and pine. A kiwi-like sweet flavour lingers on. Nice clean pale malt backbone. Really tastefull!

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 Drack ur IPA glas. En ljus IPA, ser ut som en lager. Kraftigt vitt skum. Doftar lite återhållsamt. Definitivt en IPA för varma sommardagar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
