A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Pale golden, clear, disappearing head. Citrus and flower aroma. Pineapple in the taste, balanced bitterness.

brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - MAY 2, 2013
(50 cl bottle) Yellow-golden colour, slightly hazy, white head. Aroma has lots of lemon peel, citrus, especially on the nose, and some more floral and grassy notes in the mouth. First impression of taste is quite bitter at first, then bitterness becomes a little less strong in the middle. Medium, endives-like bitterness in the dry finish. Light body, due to subtle maltiness, soft carbonation. Very good!

Bottle. LOight amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aorma with woodsiness. Citrus and woodsiness linger. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Citrus and woodsiness linger with earthiness.

Pith (160) - New York, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle at Republic Bier Halle. Soap and cascade hops. Difficult to drink, but good IPA. Dry grass, hops

solros (88) - stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 26, 2013
Smells like liquid soap, tangy and fresh. A good IPA! Not that Im IPA fan but it is drinkable.

Hungarian_G (90) - - APR 26, 2013
Golden pour with off-white head. Big nose of grapefruit and citrus hops, followed by complex but well balanced taste of citrus and floral hops and some doughy yeast. Light roasted malts come into play in the back. Not your typical American-style "modern" IPA, but a very good beer. Well balanced, smooth and complex, but highly sessionable.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2013 Simply superb and wonderful citrus flavoured ale. Good body and taste right through to end of the glass. Had it on draught at the Blackfriars pub in London, and it was superb as well.

Much is said about this beer. It is all down to personal taste, but this beer is exceptional. Rich juicy citric aroma and floral fruity initial taste, this is a light golden strong ipa ale, with a powerful deep hoppy finish. This ale has won almost every beer award, and justifiably continues too win awards, dont be put off by some individuals who this beer is not a match for, definitely try this one. If you love this beer its worth trying Marstons "Old Empire" IPA which is similar strength.
