A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

@Basunen: Mycket mild fruktighet. Smaken är mycket lätt aningen tunn. Inte så häftig direkt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malty in colour, it has a pleasant strong hoppy kick, with tons of citrusy fruit. The most character filled of the Thornbridge beers that I've tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2015 A light yellow beer with a medium and white head. Aroma is sophisticated, tropical fruits, grapefruity citrusfruits and some fructose. Taste of biscuity malts, some fruits, citrusfruits, lots of grapefruits and hint of herbs. Medium bitterness, quite dry taste. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, easy to enjoy. Dec 2012 - Cold bottle. Mildest IPA ever. Like a hoppy lager. Hop flavours are nice enough - a bit cirusy with mild bitterness. Highly drinkable session beer. Cant say anything bad about a beer this mild. (3.5)

Dec 2012 - Christmas present. Cold bottle had on New Years Eve. American IPA flavours (mainly floral), just much milder than normal. Nice and easy drinking. (3.6)

Feb 2013 On draught at a JDW. Again, very mild, not bitter at all, indistinct citrus, drinkable. (3.5)

Nov 2014 - Cask at Kings Tun JDW. Described as a super-premium beer by the barmaid. Clear pale yellow, lightly sparkling, small white head, light lacing. Body is medium, smooth, touch of carbonation. Taste is pithy lemon, a little cheesy, soft bitterness. (3.3) Sep 2016 Cask handpull, Railway Putney. Straw, minerally, grassy. (3.3)

Aroma: orange, citrus and floral hops, honey Palate: Flavor: orange/lemon, floral, honey; the bitterness builds from the mid-palate and keeps gaining intensity through the finish (very English style perhaps?) Comment: This bottle may have been a bit old. Have tried other bottles and scored them higher--37-38

Theydon_Bois (18278) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2013
Cask at Wetherspoons, Victoria station. Lightly hazed pale golden, good sized bubbly white head, Nose is hops, citrus, sugar, light pine, grapefruit, orange pith. Taste comprises hops, mango, sugars, orange, red grapefruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, some bitterness in a dry finish. I reckon the conditioning of this one wasnt tip top but it still came out as a very drinkable IPA. Re-rate in due course.

Kaatuu lasiin kullankeltaisena ja kirkkaana, vaahto on keskikokoinen ja pitsi jttv. Haju on hyvin sitruksinen, jota tukee phkin, ruoho, havu ja on siin viel hieman mausteista yrtti. Maku on yrttinen, sitruksinen, ruohoa, voileipkeksi ja hieman sek havua ett puuta. Hyvin pilsminen maku. Runko tosiaan meinaa jd vhn ohueksi humalointiin nhden.
