A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Only slightly clouded, it is golden with a thick frothy head. The citrus, especially lemon and grapefruit are dominant in both the flavour and aroma.

Pours a clear yellow, nice foam, nice hoppy citrus aroma. Body could have been a bitter more full but otherwise a very refreshing beer.

Bottle sample after the Stone Vertical Epic tasting at Mastikim. Thanks avrashi. Pours light and hazy golden with white wave. Malty and hoppy at once - lots of pine in the nose - fun. Fresh bitterness, stingy and hoppy. Light body, fizzy, hoppy pine finish.

500ml bottle, shared with Caterwaul. Mildly hazy whitish - yellow golden color. Good thin white head, leaves decent lace. Medium body. Very smooth, light carbonation. Finish is more on the dry, clean side. I was very skeptical about this going in, because most English "IPAs" I try turn to to be disappointing to me. But this is actually really impressive, in the way that lighter American "session" IPAs try to be. There is a satisfying floral hop flavor in here that dominates, with some light citrus and lighter pine notes. Hint of lemon. Balanced with a decent bready, lightly toasty malt profile. Nice lightly bitter zesty taste, light sweetness. Just a solid, lighter yet flavorful IPA, English or not.

Bottle sample. Slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Huge fruity nose - tropical, citrus and some pines. Clean malt flavor with rich hop flavors of NZ hops and earth and med-hi bitterness. Long hoppy finish, medium body and very good.

Bottled, 0.50l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head, moderate lacing and average visible carbonation. Aroma of light caramel, spicy hops and fruits, amongst strawberry and lemon prevail, while lychee and elderflower also noticed. Taste starts with spicy malt, followed fresh fruity and finished astringent. Aftertaste is long hoppy with spicy note in the end. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. IPA rocks...

Cask at Rattle with Npodendorf. Pours clear gold with a thin head. Flowery hops, lighter fruity notes, and a light malty sweetness. Pretty good.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2015 Clean golden color, medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma of tropical fruits and citruses with notes of pine. Crispy and hoppy taste with a lot of citrus and some herbs, long bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth and nicely balanced IPA.

Pours a golden honey color, much lighter than most IPA’s. Small white head. Big floral (roses?) and honey aromas. A perfect balance of malt and hops; neither overpowers the other—and with the current trend of “big” IPA’s, a smoother, balanced one stands out in the crowd. Distinguishable notes of pineapple in the taste. I’d have this one again in a heartbeat.

From a bottle, almost clear orangy golden brown pour. Aroma of caramel malts, orange and honey hops, with grassy notes. Crisp, light body. Well balanced with moderate sweetness & bitterness. Had this on cask and, for me, it didn’t work. Much better out of a bottle or keg.
