A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Hazy golden color, small white head. Mild hoppy aroma, some fruits. Bitter taste with unpleasant finish. Less than medium bitterness. Thin body, average carbonation. Overrated?
(Pivoljub 0,5l bottle)

Cask: Nose is decent mediumbitter wet hops, weak soap, weak leaves, little peach, feel is quite broad, taste is mediumheavy bitter hops, asparagus, sour lime, late earth and bittersour hops

DerWeg (1702) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
Slightly cloudy and clear pale yellow-gold with very fine white head. Better when poured hard to release some carbonation, it’s a little bitter! The grapefruit-pith and grassy bitter taste does not let up, and the aroma shows a little of the same fresh attitude with a rounder profile. There’s lots of subtle flavors under that, pale fruits and a bit of mineral. Certainly herbal and drying on the palate but class act.

borre_m (1702) - NORWAY - JAN 24, 2015
Pours clear golden. Aroma is hoppy, but not overwhelming. Taste is slightly hoppy, a balanced and light ipa.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2011 A lovely IPA. Really sessionable. Good hop measure; fruits, citrus and eldeflower. The balance is good however a little sharp and dry in the finish. Drinkability is good and mouth feel is moderate Consumed at Rake on tap and also bottle conditined at home, 19th March 2010. 3.7 Update 10th March 2011. My Brewery Tap. Bottle condition. Damn this is GOOOD White head, golden blonde stunner, aroma is citrus, baked bread, floral hos, zingy lemon, taste is stunning, grapefruit, lemons, honey, tropics, grass, gorgeous fanatical hop-bite, rolls off your tongue like sweet honey, fresh at the brewery they must hate to see this leave! A perfect beer to represent an empire.

rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Golden pour with a white head. Aroma is bread, pine and noble hops, and cat pee. Flavor much better with great floral an spicy aspect with a pleasent bitter finish.

kassner (1686) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 23, 2010
cask on tap at Birch and barley. Another great head and lacing with a big hops nose, with hints of soap and spruce. Plenty of aromatic hops taste and a nice finish. Not an American IPA for sure but OK

MelvinKalksma (1686) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2015

Malts, caramel, hops, fruit, citrus, orange; quite faint overall.

Turbid yellow/golden beer with a slight white head.

Starts medium sweet with malts and caramel; ends light bitter with hops, citrus and orange.

trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 11, 2010
On tap at Brouwer’s Hopfest 2010. Yellow, with a small, syrupy head. Very English hops on the nose - mild, not at all overly bitter. Herbal, malty - sorry, but this doesn’t belong at Hopfest. Something like a super-imperial South American lager. Green tea and maybe jasmine? Meh.

tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Cask at Alla Spina. Cloudy orange with a thick light tan head. LIght floral, citrus hop aroma. Taste of yeast funk, light citrus from the hops, and musty otter taint.
