A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Light fruity and floral hop aroma. No malt or alcohol in the nose. Very light yellow, looks almost like a lager, slightly hazy. Taste is fruity upfront, slightly sweet middle and slightly cool/minty finish with a decent amount of hop bitterness lingering in the back of the palate. Very light bodied and mildly flavored for an IPA, although has the hop bitterness to back it up. Malt is very mild as I like it in an IPA, but this one isnt anything too special.

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Pours sickly pale. Elderflower, orange juice, touch of earthy pepper, some bitter orange. Little sweet but the Belgian yeast is a fun touch.

You have go a long way in England to find a better IPA. My only criticism is that the bottled beer is unnaturally clear, however, aroma, palette and aftertaste are very good. (Plenty of beers similar beers in US by the way)

On Cask Light golden body. Fruity citrus aroma. Medium body. Light citrus tropical fruit flavours. I prefer this bottled

Was my favourite beer for a long time. Good balance with the hops and nice, not too strong aftertaste. I still like it (a lot)..

330ml bottle. Pours straw with a small white head, carbonation rushing up the glass. Nose is tropical, citrus and piney. Some sweet caramel malt too. Piney, resinous mouth feel. Flavours of mango, apricot and grapefruit. Good malt base. Really long lasting dry bitter finish. Love it. Pricey stuff though.

On cask and on tap @ Thornbridge, s Hertogenbosch. Cask: Clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and a very light funky sidenote. bitter taste and of course, being from cask low in carbo. On Tap: Hazy light yellow with a medium sized very dense white head. Aroma of tropical fruits. Bitter taste and well carbonated. Either way, a very nice IPA although I like the draft version better.

Pint at The Mailling Jug, Kent. Pours clear golden with no head and no carbonation. Minimal aroma of citrus and cider. Strong hop forward taste with solid bitter hit on the front palate. Slightly thin in the middle with malt supressed. Some lingering bitterness but not over the top. Fairly typical of a west coast US IPA. Not bad.

From bottle to snifter. Pour is a golden color, thick white head. Nose is slight hop, pine, malt, doughy. Taste is bitter, bits of sweetness, light-medium body. A little sharper finish on the palate with a high carbonation. Definitely different than an American IPA but still good.

Decent, if nothing out of the ordinary. Medium body, medium bitterness, classic, fairly old school.
