A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2015 Clean golden color, medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma of tropical fruits and citruses with notes of pine. Crispy and hoppy taste with a lot of citrus and some herbs, long bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth and nicely balanced IPA.

Malty in colour, it has a pleasant strong hoppy kick, with tons of citrusy fruit. The most character filled of the Thornbridge beers that I've tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden pour with off-white head. Big nose of grapefruit and citrus hops, followed by complex but well balanced taste of citrus and floral hops and some doughy yeast. Light roasted malts come into play in the back. Not your typical American-style "modern" IPA, but a very good beer. Well balanced, smooth and complex, but highly sessionable.

Golden color and a nice white head. Lots of citrus and flower on the nose. Some earthy notes also. Nice bitterness on the finish. Very, very drinkable…

Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is floral and citrussy. Some white grape, zest, grass and piney notes. Taste is lemony, grapefruit, dry white grape, melon and pine. A kiwi-like sweet flavour lingers on. Nice clean pale malt backbone. Really tastefull!

Very lightly coloured for an ipa. Restrained aromas of citrus with hints of caramel and honey. Flavours of honey and malt with a gentle but long hop finish. It's refreshing to drink an English style ipa that demonstrates how an understated beer can still be of very high quality, when so many ipa's on the market try to "out-hop" each other in the American style. -

A balance of citrus fruit and floral aromas with a sweet and malt body makes this bitter a delight. Great hop and malt balance

Lovely dry IPA with very citrusy and bitter hopping. Dangerously easy drinking...

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Nice light gold presence with lasting head. Citrus notes with soft malt undertone. Initial citrus delight is punctuated with a grapefruit tang that rests before leaving an appropriately tame bitterness. A well-balanced IPA that stands out for me as one of Britain’s best offerings in recent times. I shall return.
