A Mes rate: Cask @ The Devonshire Cat in Sheffield. Not my style but I really enjoyed this. Very hoppy and well rounded, all the usual citric and floral descriptions spring to mind but its jolly good stuff. A very delicate sweetness is what does it I think. Good beer, thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 21, 2007
Bottle. Clear pale golden, almost yellow, with a big white foam. Interesting grassy and somewhat fruity hop aroma. Good apple hop flavours, dry and bitter, woody touch in the finish. Fizzy. A nice English IPA. larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 28, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2008 Biggish creamy white head with strange bubble formations on top. Slightly hazy pale yellow body. Resiny, fruity hop aroma with pine needle notes and grapefruit. Clear and pure. Taste is dry-sweet, powerful citric, fruity, resiny hop taste. Faintly thick mouthfeel from the hops, very clean, soft and chalky. Bitter, oily hop aftertaste. Very good for an English IPA. (0.25l on p. Later 0.1l taster at EBF’08.)

Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 7th Feb 2008. The first thing you notice is the very strong lemon aroma. Appearance wise, it’s a clear gold. Simple hoppy IPA flavour with a really bitter hop flavour kicking in late for an extremely dry finish. Good stuff. mjs (7156) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 26, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2010 (Re-rate, cask at White Horse on Parson’s Green) I’ve been waiting for a chance to re-rate this beer. The looks were ok: golden and clear. Hops were clearly present in both taste and aroma. The hop characters were fruitiness and pine. Fortunately, hops weren’t too dominating. Malty, medium bodied beer was there underneath and created nice balance. Aftertaste lasted long.

Cask at EBF, Copenhagen.
Grassy hops dominate. Not an extreme beer, just a solid, well composed IPA, well balanced between malt and hops. bobinlondon (1295) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2008
Gravity cask at the Peterborough Beer Fest Aug 08. Golden yellow with a white head.Lovely hoppy aroma with strong notes of tropical fruits. The flavour is a hoppy explosion of citrus and tropical fruits, on a distinctly sweet base. Long hoppy aftertaste. Very good.
