A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Clear golden pour with a medium white head. Pleasant aroma of citrusy hops and honeyish malt. Very good flavor of floral, citrusy hops with honey and malt, the bitterness is restrained. The body is light to medium and the carbonation is soft. Very good.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2013 Recorded 15.11.2013, suboptimal conditions. Tap@Kuikka. Clear orange, slighly reddish. Aroma: Slightly fruity, malt background. Some mandarin orange. Minimal sour milk. Taste: Over medium sweet, quite moderate bitterness. Carbonation adds some sourness to the taste, somewhat low in malt. Palate: Medium body. Pleasant mandarin freshness. <---> Tap. Pub. Clear amber with a white head. Fruity hopping. It was quite enjoyable. 9.3.2012.

mansquito (6514) - Nueva York, New York, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria cask 12oz ($8): Pours an amber colour with barely any head, but plenty of lacing. Aroma is heavily into the citrus hops. Taste is mostly citrus hops. Malt backbone well done. Balance is generally good. This is more hoppy than one would expect from an IPA from the British Isles, but it is nothing close to hopslaughter. In any case, a good sessionable IPA this is. Very good mouthfeel, but I don’t know if the beer is responsible for it, or if the cask is.

Powerfully good nose of herbaceous grapefruit and fig. Pours pale gold with a flufy white head. Flavour is well balanced - sharp, with spruce and citrus and a hint of tobacco smoke balanced with some candied cumquat peel and ending on a long, dry note of fat, fruity malt. Not bad.

Off keg at the exeter arms derby. Tasty basically, not too fizzy and quite hoppy. Well nice.
