A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

500ml bottle, shared with Caterwaul. Mildly hazy whitish - yellow golden color. Good thin white head, leaves decent lace. Medium body. Very smooth, light carbonation. Finish is more on the dry, clean side. I was very skeptical about this going in, because most English "IPAs" I try turn to to be disappointing to me. But this is actually really impressive, in the way that lighter American "session" IPAs try to be. There is a satisfying floral hop flavor in here that dominates, with some light citrus and lighter pine notes. Hint of lemon. Balanced with a decent bready, lightly toasty malt profile. Nice lightly bitter zesty taste, light sweetness. Just a solid, lighter yet flavorful IPA, English or not.

Bottle sample after the Stone Vertical Epic tasting at Mastikim. Thanks avrashi. Pours light and hazy golden with white wave. Malty and hoppy at once - lots of pine in the nose - fun. Fresh bitterness, stingy and hoppy. Light body, fizzy, hoppy pine finish.

Bottle from systembolaget. Fresh and hoppy smell with citrus and fruity hops. Similar taste but milder then the smell, also has a drawn out bitterness. Light malt body and fresh feeling. Nice thirst quencher.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2014 Ar: fruit candy, grapefruit, pineapple, resin, caramel, vanilla, floral, bubblegum. Ap: amber colour, medium white head, lacing. F: spruce, grapefruit, resin, fruitiness, big bite but a bit short aftertaste P: soft carbonation, medium body, bitter and slightly sweet aftertaste. T: I really liked Raven so my expectations were high, sadly this beer did not live up to them.

Bottle, 50cl - Clear golden beer with a large white head. Aroma is spicy with notes of citrus, spices (thyme and rosemary), wheat, hay and wit yeast. Flavor is fruity with notes of citrus, grapefruit, floral hops and hay. Very balanced beer! Don’t know what type of yeast was used for this beer but it feels like they’ve used some type of wit due to the citrusy esters.

Dimmig guldfärgad med långvarigt vitt skum. Citron är dominant, men också bär den spår i doften av persika, apelsin och blommighet. Citrus, rosvatten, honung och örter i smaken. Medelbeska.

On tap at Beer Deluxe (20-May-13) Citrus light herbal aroma. Light golden colour, ok hrad and nice big spidery lacing. Grapefruit, light malt and herbal hop flavour. Grassy bitter citrus hop finish.

BB 31.01.14. Slightly hazy, very pale yellow color with medium, white head that soon drops to a thin crescent. Slightly hazy (wheat?) initially very British malt and stone fruits aroma that after a while reveals a more citrusy (lemon, orange) character with some herbal notes. Creamy, slightly minerally flavor with stone fruits and finally a quite full palate with a dry, bitter finish. Nice and sessionable IPA with a British character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours golden orange with a short, fluffy head. Nose is very citrusy, lychee, grapefruit and lemon. Taste is hop loaded; same citrusy flavours with no malty backbone. Would prefer to have a thicker malt profile to balance out the hops. Dry, bitter after taste, very english styled IPA. Sessionable but a little bland.
