3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This IPA poured a cloudy, light yellow colour with a nice, big, foamy, bright white head. Little lacing. to the nose there are scents of corn, perfume, ginger ale, soda water, citrus hops and hay. First sip was smooth with flavours of lemon citrus, grass and hay. finish is lightly bitter with floral/citrus hop flavour lingering.
(330 ml bottle) Jaipur's reputation as a craft beer classic can probably be put down to its style: a traditional British take on the modern American IPA - full of hops, and searingly bitter!
Pours a crystal-clear, straw-yellow beer, with vigorous medium carbonation, and a bubbly white head. A citrusy aroma of lemon peel and orange zest sits above a strong, fresh and bready maltbase. Notes include green grape, alcohol and marzipan, while minerals and pine come through towards the finish.
Smooth, soft, and bubbly on the palate, with a lingering, lip-smacking bitterness.
Whilst Jaipur IPA doesn't live up to the buzz, it's fundamentally a very good beer: it looks lovely, tastes good, and is a textbook example of bullish British brewing.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pale clear gold under a small lingering white head. Nose has some honey but dominated by citrus, tropical fruit, melon and some light pine. Light sweet honey with a medium bitterness of grapefruit and a slight lemon tartness. Mouth is medium and oily with slightly soft carbonation and a lingering bitter finish.

Mad Dog Martin (23) - - SEP 3, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 Amber with a thin, vanishing head. Bottle bought at Asda, Ferring on a rainy Sunday. There's something unusual going on here, a spice I can't quite place; cloves or cardamom? It's dry and crisp, quite pleasant, but what is that flavour? MeadCaptain95 (12) - - AUG 26, 2017
0.5L on tap at The Abbey, Shrewsbury. May have been poured a tad too cold as some of the complexity I associate with this lovely beer has been lost. Still, a fine IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma is floral, citrusy and grapefruity, with a solid bready back-end. Taste has orange, grapefruit, grass, flowers and yeast, with a moderate bitter aftertaste. ThreeCats (982) - ISRAEL - AUG 23, 2017
Very pale, almost straw color, with a nice head. Aroma flowery, earthy, and dank. Taste has good bitterness and some fruity characteristics, passionfruit and grapefruit rind. Very nice English IPA. puredelusion (417) - Lviv, UKRAINE - AUG 22, 2017

On tap. Pours in golden yellow with small white head, clear liquid. Aroma of spruce, grapefruit, honey. Higly bitter, medium sweet, no sourness. Medium body, average carbonation, long lasting bitter and honey aftertaste, very refreshing. GlennHendry (485) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2017
Sweet and bready on the nose. Rich and malty tasting, with a honey sweetness and a kick of citrus. Not what I was expecting but a very tasty brew.
