Cask & Cold Filtered Bottle; Regular.
Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

While this is too bitter for my tastes, I surely could appreciate the quality of the craftmanship of the beer. The nose is wonderfully aromatic of fresh citrus, heavily grapefruit, with honey as well. It poured a cloudy light gold. It’s a bit light up front with a more substantial long bitter finish. Really refreshing.

The aroma is hoppy but not strong with light fruit, grassy floral hops, yeast, and pale malts. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma with a mild bitter bread like finish. The palate is smooth. Overall not great but very drinkable.

pours very very clear , light. white fast fading foam. hops and malts on the nose , intense taste. realy surprising too! very much ’exoticer’ fruits, like kiwi ( damn thats more kiwi than the kiwi pils of evil twin ! ) fading with again the kiwi, some small bitterness, lightly going away. kinda waawed by this !

Cask pour at Craft Beer Co. Nice changeup from these guys, with the super dry and semi-tartn flavors giving this one a distinctive personality. It certainly possesses the requisite characteristics one wants from the style - bitter, earthy, balanced with just the right touch of sweetness - but a dry noble hop dimension and demi-sec citrus comes across well.

Clear straw colored pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. An almost vegetal aroma with malt and hops. Big malty hop flavor. Very pleasant. Not too bitter but there is some bitterness. More bitter in the back, but not overpowering. Good beer.
