Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

Clear straw colored pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. An almost vegetal aroma with malt and hops. Big malty hop flavor. Very pleasant. Not too bitter but there is some bitterness. More bitter in the back, but not overpowering. Good beer.

Clear golden straw with a white rocky head and swirls and streaks of lace. The nose is grass and citrus with some pine hops. The taste is unexpected - grassy citrus (especially grapefruit) with light malt in the background as floral and pine hops take over the finish. The aftertaste moves back toward island fruit. An exceptional brew, different in the best ways, well worth the high expemse of a bottle. Highly recommended.
