Bar, Copenhagen - black pour with beige head. Sweet and slight roasted malty with some nice cocoa and coffee notes, some caramel and fudge, distinct but well balanced vanilla into the close.

Cask. Sheffield Tap. Clear, dark ruby red. Bubbly, lasting, pale tan head. Nose has light roast malts. Some coffee. Some lactose. Taste is light, milky sweet, turning mild, roast malt bitter. Light body, verging on thin. More milky sweetness on the finish, with a light bitter close. Ok. sir__v (2630) - FRANCE - MAR 1, 2016
On cask @ The Rake, London - UK. Color: deep dark black beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: roasted malt and caramel with vanilla hint. Taste: medium palate with roasted malt and good caramel taste balanced with vanilla. Really easy drinkable. Good attenuation. Aftertaste: roasted malt and vanilla. Good beer.

Cask conditioned at Greyfriars, Reading, Berkshire. Dark brown with cream head. There is a fruity, vanilla character to this, pretty sweet and fullish on the palate. Sticky chocolate notes, smooth and creamy. It’s fine. wheresthepath (2395) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2016
Cask at The Greyfriar, Readinf. Brown-black with a thick off- white head. Odd grassy notes mixed in with roasty malts in the aroma- really wasn’t convinced by the smell on this one actually. Flavourwise it’s alright though- smooth milk chocolate with light vanilla and just a hint of roastiness. Very smooth- almost too smooth in fact, lacks any real edge or distinctiveness. Possibly my expectations were too high what with it being Thornbridge, but it wasn’t as good as I hoped. Still pleasant enough though. Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 2, 2015
Cask @The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Pours black with a slightly off white bubbly head. Slight whisky, slight coffee, ever so slight vanilla you have to go looking. In fact the aroma is not at all big. Great taste, coffee, chocolate, dark chocolate, slight orange kick at the end, v.nice. nihtila (3912) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 2, 2015
Cask at The Bat. Dark brown. Nose is roasted malts, cocoa, vanilla. Taste is dryish bitter roast, dark chocolate, sweetish vanilla. Smithld1 (323) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2015
Pint at tap east. As the last reviewer say, smells nice but not a particularly robust flavour. A bit bland, promised more.
