downender (8659) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2017
Cask-conditioned at Pivni, York 22 January 2017. Medium brown in colour, with a slight, white, head. Brown sugar, a touch of spice, beery fruits and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

ManVsBeer (10464) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2017
Keg @ Tapped, Leeds. Dirty amber with a thick head. It’s spicy with some ginger and cinnamon evident. It’s slightly sweet but not quite feeling its strength in taste.

KikoDucky (179) - Trenčín, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 19, 2017
on tap at Pavement Vaults, York. Bronze brown colour. Sour berries and lemon aroma. Taste is caramel, fruity and bittery.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2014
Cask conditioned air pressure Tapped Leeds 07/01/14. A brown beer with a white head and lace. A spicy and floral beer. The spices really enhance this unlike some other beers where it gets in the way. The hops seem floral Saazy and work well. Very very easy to drink. Seems to hide the alcohol well, Lovely balance of flavours. A great beer.

3.7
McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2014
Clear cover brown with wee ringed white head. Nutty cinnamon and bitters on the nose, but exiting. Initial taste is less so, twang of bitterness, lightly spicy and twang of yeast. Finishes a decent bittersweet blend and a Cola bottle Chewy linger.

minutemat (5500) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2013
Cask @ Sheffield Tap. Nutty, pot pourri nose, some interesting spices, dark malts.. ok but seems a bit unbalanced, and those spices aren’t really my cup of tea

3.3
decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Amber pour with watery white head. Pepper and spice aroma. A berriness that reminds me of blueberries but is not, paper, and pepper. Thin and watery.

2.8
weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2012
Interesting. Not the beer in my opinion, interesting that Thornbridge do something I don’t like. Think that’s a first. Kind of amber brown with a big bubbled head. Some Christmas spice, licorice, carmel malts, bit of a strange medicinal flavour. Bit root beer like for me.

3.3
zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Cask at Get Real NY - nice light lavendar notes. Soft bodied, sweet sugars with herbal tannins. Dry finish with some woody notes.

3.3
Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Cask at the Euston Tap, 1st Dec 2010. Reddish brown with a lacy peristent small bright white head. Nose is all winter spices and flavour is likewise dominated. Caramel base.
