Cask conditioned air pressure Tapped Leeds 07/01/14. A brown beer with a white head and lace. A spicy and floral beer. The spices really enhance this unlike some other beers where it gets in the way. The hops seem floral Saazy and work well. Very very easy to drink. Seems to hide the alcohol well, Lovely balance of flavours. A great beer. McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2014
Clear cover brown with wee ringed white head. Nutty cinnamon and bitters on the nose, but exiting. Initial taste is less so, twang of bitterness, lightly spicy and twang of yeast. Finishes a decent bittersweet blend and a Cola bottle Chewy linger. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2010
A Sim rate (cask at the Euston Tap): Sweet, tangy and hoppy aroma. Plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and winter berries. Great looking beer with an inviting caramel colour and a head that just doesn’t give up. Flavour is full-on malt and a bitterness that lasts with its nutmeg and cinnamon spice. Really great beer. I could drink loads of this....if only we had an open fire rather than a space heater! Travlr (24759) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 9, 2011

From a cast poured a brown color with a small amount of head. Nice light malty flavor with a quick finish. Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2010
Cask at the Euston Tap. Dark garnet pour with a sturdy, white cream head. Malty aroma, with some cinnamon and other wintery spices, sugarplums, and hazelnut. Lovely, spicy flavor with perhaps nuitmeg and cinnamon, along with gingerbread, and faintly bitter lemon. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dries out a good bit in the finish, with lingering spices, some ginger tang, and sweet bread, along with modest bitterness. Better than decent. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JAN 7, 2011
Milk chocolate and toffee noise. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with lots of chocolate, light roast, light dark fruit, and a touch of fruity yeast. Solid cask ale. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 19, 2011
