Sample from a paddle at the Hop & Cleaver, Newcastle. Bright gold, creamy white head. Fruity floral aroma, tangy tropical flavour with a hint of blueberry on a digestive biscuit base. Light and tangy on the palate. Rather good.

BeardedAvenger (1475) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2018
Cask at Rose and Thistle, Frimley. Thornbridge residency. Vague fruity aroma with hints of sourness. Light gold. Thin white head just around the inside of the rim. Light bitter with underlying sweetness. Juicy citrus and, to concur with the booklet, blueberry. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft, verging on flat, carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough but, like the other last two Thornbridge offerings I just had, it's not really setting off my tastebuds. But a pleasant palate.

Cask at Runaway Brewery, Manchester, Saturday 15th July 2017 Straw coloured with a white head, great clarity. It’s a very easy drinking golden, hoppy but not quite bursting with tropical fruits or grapefruit, nice but not something that you can say is compelling. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
