Imperial Russian Stout
Rich and dark with smoke, subtle peatiness and the power of the dark malts. Molasses and liquorice and chocolate goodness all wrapped up in a smooth, warming liquid. Finishes with a distinct humming bitterness carried well by the hop and malt combo.

Pours clear dark brown with strong tan head. Pine, chocolate, cocoa, burnt malt, hay, very hoppy nose. Burnt malt, pine, dark chocolate. A very light palate for an imperial stout. Not particularly Russian IMO but I like it nonetheless.

Pleasant flavors of cocoa and dark roasted malts, but definitely on the thin side for the style. Medium bodied with a bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Well made, just a little weak.

0.5 l draught @ William K Kurvi, Helsinki. This has Scotland all over i.e. taste of malt whisky. I hope Im writing the review in the right slot. Dark malts, smoke, alcohol. Great after a nice meal.

Bottle at Beer Zone Iasi, Ro. Pours dark brown with almost no head. Pine, dark chocolate, coffee, with medium, last, longing bitterness. There a certain sweetness which makes it very drinkable. A bit of sweet alcohol. Very good.

Gehbe (305) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - SEP 9, 2016
Pours clear deep ruby-brown with a huge frothy tan head. Original rich aroma of chocolate, pine, resin, northern rainforest, spice, dried fruit and prunes, chestnuts, coffee, toffee and forest again. And again. And it never ends :) Fairly light body for an imperial stout which makes it sooo dangerous. Cant... stop... drinking it.... Baltic Stout is what it should be called, and Id be even prouder to live in the Baltics then :)

GhostS (119) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - SEP 6, 2016
medium and sweetish aroma with burnt nuances - a little bit roasted coffee beans, cacao with some milk, caramelized sugar, honey, roasted nuts, some cognac and oak cask. medium taste - a little bit roasted coffee, fresh coffee with sugar, burnt fruit wood, some dark chocolate, flowers and honey. not an imperial, but a good common stout!

Bottle - dense dark brown, with thick foamy tan head. Strong coffee, chocolate aroma. Good mouthfeel. Strong tasting, maybe a bit over powering for my taste.
