This English IPA is named after the second ship that took the original IPA to India. Light copper with a nose of fruit and berries, a gentle maltiness in the mouth and a wonderful citrus, lemon-pith bitterness.

Tap @ Craft Beer & Co. Covent Garden, London - UK. Color: clear golden blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: sweet grassy domination, resin hint and pine. Fruity. Taste: medium body with good sweet malt backbone balanced with resinous pine hops and grassy hint. Fruity as well, highly drinkable. Good attenuation. Aftertaste: sweet wet bitterness, fruity and grassy.

[email protected] Bar, Copenhagen (11/09/2016) - golden amber pour with white head. Citrus and tropical fruity and bready malty, some lemon, satsuma and grapefruit, floral and grassy hoppy notes, some caramel sweetness, didnt really pick up any berry notes as per description, ok overall.

Cask at the Great Western, Wolverhampton. As ’Thornbridge Seaforth’. Dark orange, clear, still, creamy off-white head, full thick lacing. Aroma is ginger, spice, a little medicinal. Body is rounded, soft carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is lime, strawberry bubblegum, pot pourri, parma violet, pick n mix, straw, medicinal with some mint. Pretty unique and strange. Quite a potent flavour. I have mixed feelings.

Cask @ Thornbridge ’s Hertogenbosch, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of yellow tropical fruit, mango, peach, bit white wine like, some biscuity malt. Soft bitter taste, bit sweet malty notes. Decent cask IPA.

Heldere gouden kleur en een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig stoffig, orange. Smaakt bitterzoet, stoffig. Beetje kruidig. Beetje dun.

Abijen (2572) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2015
Cask. Goud koper helder bier met een goede witte schuim kraag. Ruikt fruitig, beetje zuur, citroen. Nice. Smaakt hop, zacht, goed bitter.

Towey1989 (3530) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2015
Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. A clear pale amber colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, grain, subtle butter, slight wood, grapefruit and orange. Taste of caramel, grain, straw, subtle wood, grapefruit, orange, slight lemon and spicy, earthy hops in background. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. Quite a boring IPA to be honest, some citrus bitterness which is nice but overall uninteresting, which is a shame. Still solid though.
