Cask; Occasional.
This English IPA is named after the second ship that took the original IPA to India. Light copper with a nose of fruit and berries, a gentle maltiness in the mouth and a wonderful citrus, lemon-pith bitterness.

Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2014
Cask @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy orange color, virtually no head. Don’t get any aroma. Taste light to moderately malty, decently bitter, lightly hops, a hint of tea. Average body and carbonation.

Theydon_Bois (19513) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2014
Cask at CBC Clerko, dry hopped version from CBC Clerko’s 3rd birthday bash, 23/06/14. Clear golden with a moderate light beige head that retains well. Nose is earthy hops, melon, bread dough, perfumed notes, mandarin. Taste comprises floral tones, biscuit, caramel, bitter orange, citric pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter rinse. Ok - more English pale perhaps, not really enough hop presence to justify IPA in RB parlance!

On tap at the Euston Tap, 26th May 2011. Gentle IPA. Amber, little head. Somewhat fruity and flowery nose & flavour but all too forgettable. Clean and light finish... or is that just because I had a 11.2% beer directly beforehand?

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Jan 2013 - Dark Amber in colour. An IPA, brewed with English ingredients = a darker, dryer feel and much maltier than Jaipur. Very Hoppy; very earthy and spicy (peppery) hops, not resinous. Fruity; citrus grapefruit & lemon. Malty; toasty malts, caramel, toffee. Nice hop/fruit/malt balance. Earthy hops over sweet fruity malt base. Tangy, tasty. Very drinkable. Lovely English IPA!

Moebbels (797) - FINLAND - OCT 25, 2013
A slightly cloudy reddish brown body that is topped by an even layer of white foam. Nose has citrus fruits, pine, caramel and spices. Taste is sweetish with a nice bitter finish that lasts well. Coming from a cask this feel almost flat, the palate is fairly rich. The balance between bitterness and malts is pretty good but after a while this starts to feel overly sweet. This could be remedied by a higher carbonation. Overall a nice IPA.

lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 21, 2013
Cask @ Kitty’s, Helsinki. Pours a cloudy orange amber colour with a white foamy head. Good retention. Aroma of citrusy hops, apricot and toffee. Flavour of citrusy hops, fair amount of toffee, biscuit and mild herbal and earthy notes. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. Finishes mildly sweet and bitter. Good drinkability. Nice one.

(Cask at Kuikka, 20131012) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small, long lasting and white. Aroma had pine, grass, biscuits and mildly malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were pine, grass, malts, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A balanced hoppy English ale. I liked.
