First kolsh for me like a lager crossed with hefeweizen, crisp looking with small white head taste hints of yeasty esters and banana bread intetesting but bland an oxymoron I know rami_pl (3456) - Warszawa, POLAND - FEB 18, 2016

BOTTLE 50 CL. Palest clear straw, white head. Clean lageresque aroma - gentle pale malts, a touch of fruit, a hint of grassy hops. The taste is just a clean, feels empty at first. Again, clean bready pale malts, smooth grassy and peppery bitterness and a very crisp body. Yes, simple and bland, but actually enjoyable. ladnewton (1964) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2016
LIve rating. Bottle at home on 11th January 2016 - Christmas gift. Pours slightly hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and no lacing. Yeasty, pungent aroma with lemony citrus. Sweet fruity aroma with berries, grapes and citrus in-mouth. A typical kolsch style blend in the finish. Refreshing as a drink in itself, but as a Kolsch, not a roller coaster of taste. Pleasant nevertheless. Zingy mouthfeel and light body.

[7784-20150928] Tap. Smoked salmon and vinegar capers and floral grassy hops aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter grassy grains and light apple cider vinegar flavour. Medium body. Odd combination. (6/3/6/3/11) 2.9

Bottle - clear very pale yellow, highly carbonated with small white head. Decent bread aroma. Ok on tongue, slight ting in back of mouth. Slight fruity tasting, but not a lot of body - lemon aftertaste. Not the best Thornbridge. thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 25, 2015
Bottle. Pale yellow body, medium to small head. Sweet malty aroma with white bread and tender hops. Nice mouthfeel with good carbonation. Crisp malty taste combining refreshing pilsnery crispness and ale warmness. Finish is slightly creamy but in a good way. Very drinkable beer, beautifully balanced clean tastes and nothing in-your-face - that’s the way more beers should be. BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2015
500ml bottle: BBD 26 Aug 16. Poured into a tall 0.2 litre Gaffel Kölsch glass three times at home on 20 Nov 15. Exceedingly pale gold with a white head and carbonation bubbles rising through the clear body: the head however still dies swiftly. Almost odourless, slight, very slight hop and maltiness if you sniff hard enough, corn like if anything. Taste is hard to detect with the flavours being subtle to none existent. Let’s just say it is refreshing and light in nature taste wise. I struggle with Kölsch bier at the best of times and this hybrid has not made we want to go out and find more beers in the style or close to it. CH-303 (2246) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - NOV 16, 2015
