White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

Very pale yellow. Aroma is subtle pine and grapefruit. Loads more grapefruit in the mouth, very pleasant bitterness. Not a lot of depth but this is good easy drinking ale. And look - I’ve drunk most of it.

Bottle 50 cl. Slightly hazy pale golden color, thin bubbly white head. Light hoppy and fruity in aroma. Fruity, wild berries and light grassy bitterness in taste. Quite pleasant mildness and berries in aftertaste.

Cask pour at Craft Beer Co. Fairly watery pour, but bright amber and attractive in its way. Nose is pretty unassuming, some mild cereal and lemon drop along with potent grassy notes. Mouthfeel a bit on the weak side, and flavors are a bit one-dimensional, spicy hay and rind with a bit of grain for balance.

Cask at Rake with Sarah. Pours a clear pale golden yellow with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has notes of light hay and grain with some grass and floral hops. Flavor has crisp grass and a hint of pine with some earthy grains underlying.

Very pale golden colored pour. Small white head that is quick to leave the party and leaves a little bit of lacing behind. Slight aroma of hops with some malt mixed in. Taste is bitter up front with a nice hop flavor and some carbonic-ness in the back. Not bad. A bit too carbonic and bitter. But tasty just the same.

500ml bottle from Waitrose. Very pale yellow almost green. Whaffs of grassy lemon citrus. Palete is very thin and almost tinny. Very dry finish within pronounced bitterness. Falvour is one- dimensional and slightly metalic.

Hiilihappoja on melko paljon. Erittäin helposti juotava ja maukas olut.

Bottle 500ml. A quck whiff of this will give you a nose full of citrus lemon and grapefruit and some mild spices. It pours with a lively head over a light straw body. It taste quite lemony (not overpoweringly so tho) with a distinct grapefruit hint passing to a watery (very watery for Thornbridge) finish which leaves slight hint of more lemon on the back of the palate. This would be a top beer if it wasnt for its apparant wateriness- no where near as good as Kipling but would be a refreshing pint on a summers evening.

Cask: Golden blonde colour. For a beer this light, it has a very fine creamy texture, not watery at all. Mild earthy hoppiness, and very balanced overall. Not a lot going on, still a thoroughly well-made beer.
