Smell of lemon. Lemony colour, small white head. Aroma of malt, grain, some grass. A faint fruitiness in finish. Rather wild carbon. Mildly bitter.

Pale golden color with medium white foam. Aromas very fresh of cucumber, basil and herbs followed by light sweet hoppy notes and pale malts. Palate, medium body with smooth texture leaving light soft finish. Taste, sweet and fresh of pickle water and cucumbers, light touch of mint and other herbs with infused notes of light hops and pale malts. Overall, pleasantly surprised! Unique (for me) fresh cucumbery taste and something new and exciting! Not most complex and heavy beer, fairly light and simple but surprising and nice!

330ml bottle. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is straw and lemon. Floral touches. Taste has straw to start and a lagery corn finish. OK in the heat.

minutemat (5471) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2017
330m bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aroma has a nice light sweetness with some cantaloupe notes. Taste, for me, seems more akin to watermelon / cantaloupe rather than cucumber itself, with a matching lightly juicy sweetness that’s very summery. Never thought I’d taste a cucumber beer I liked!

Draft at In De Wildeman. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of light fruity hops, melon and cucumber. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Actually pretty decent for a cucumber beer.

Pale gold, brief tight head. I’ll skip the review of the aroma for a sec, it’s a little confusing. Palate is light, a bit watery, a bit fizzy. Taste is cucumbers, carbonic acid, and some ineffectual attempt at presenting a pale malt flavour. And now I’ve tasted it - ugh - it’s cucumber in the aroma too. A very silly recipe, but a strangely refreshing summer brew. Finish has slightly starchy unclean-mouth bitterness.

The problem deal IPA for a BBQ - a beer rival to Pimms. Cucumber is there in the background but not over powering. Very refreshing on a summer's day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Keg at Hilpeä Hauki, 20170704) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, cucumber and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A nice crisp brew. Bit thin and the cucumber aroma was rather weird in a beer.
