Wish I had read the tasting notes first. Not a fan of cucumber. Usually a great supporter of Thornbridge beers, but this one is a poor addition to their great range of beers. Must remember to leave this one aside next time.

Cask tap east. Tastes like cucumber. Not as bad as it sounds but not exactly a gin and tonic. A curiosity. I wont have another but perfectly doable.

juffage (171) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2015
Cask at Arcadia, Leeds. Cucumber, grass, leaves, rye, peach. Fruity white-grapes - possibly NZ hops? So nice on cask too, its just so juicy and soft and drinkable. Tied for best cucumber beer with Cigar City Cucumber Saison.

Cask. Bath Hotel, Sheffield. Sparkly clear, yellow gold. Thin, bubbly, messy, lasting, white head. For me the aroma is as much parsley and coriander, as it is cucumber. Either way, its very vegetal. Bready malt backdrop. Taste is mostly dry. Palate is thin. Finishes dry, with some earthy bitterness.

@Urban Tap, Cardiff I love Thornbridge, so am a bit shocked by this It tastes of cucumber, grass, leaves, allotment, hay An incredible drink, no idea how they did it, but Im not sure its beer or if Id have it again

allmyvinyl (10508) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 28, 2014
Cask at The York Tap. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Nice lacing. Light cucumber and malt aromas. Taste is faint cucumber, but definitely there, more light malt. Light bitter finish. Interesting.

28.09.2012, tap @ Borefts:
Frisk lukt med preg av lys malt, humle, vtt korn, hy, gras, asparges. Lett trr smak med preg av lys malt, humle, hy, asparges, vtt korn, gras. Middels bitterhet som set litt. Rar!

ManVsBeer (10279) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2014
Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Blonde with a small head. It does smell and taste of the vegetable making it a fairly interesting brew, although a touch dry in texture.

Ungstrup (37317) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2013
Cask at Borefts BF 2012. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and rye. The flavor is sweet with barley, rye, and a bit of hops, leading to dry finish.

Very refreshing summer beer. A cucumber flavour beer shouldnt work, but like the mint choc chip stout, this works. sadly i had to be an adult and only have one pint of it...
