Had at a cask ale festival. Slightly smoky, malty, nice bitterness. Maybe a little light on the palate for the style, but very satisfying. Leighton (23357) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2013

Craft Clerkenwell. Clear dark red - amber beer, small off white head. Slightly viscous palate. Burned toffee malt with a trace of coffee. Tangy dried fruits. Finishes semi dry with mild red berry fruits. A curious brew this, more interesting than drinkable.
On cask at Coach and Horse Dronfield - A deep near black ruby body, very boozy on the nose, hits of malt and cake fruits there. As expected there were the smoky tastes, nuts, toast, coffee, but sweetened up a bit as you get used to the drink. Very nice, but regretting the third and fourth pint of this. Ouch.
