Draft @ Three Fires. Sweet musty orange, caramel, and light piney aroma. Clear copper with a small off-white head. Sweet musty orange, caramel, piney hops, and light alcohol flavor. Medium creamy body, soft carbonation. Nice.

Pint glass on tap at three wisemen in Broad Ripple... Amber color with a nice citrusy smell. Goes down extremely smooth for a double IPA, but I can still get a robust hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Scotty’s Brewhouse in downtown Indianapolis, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear deep golden color with a small white head. Notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, honey, caramel, floral, and apricot. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, juicy, resinous mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Really tasty DIPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Amber color with a lasting, sticky, ivory head. Big smooth hop resin nose. This beer goes well with the popcorn. Thick candied grapefruit rind taste with honey sweetness and a thick mouthfeel. Okay IIPA.

On tap at the brewpub in Indianapolis, IN. Pours a clear copper colored body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet caramel malts, grapefruit citrus florals, some earthy pines, and a touch of toast. Flavor is similar. Grapefruit and orange florals and light pines up front with a medium sweet caramel, touch of toasted toffee, and some earthiness in the middle. Finishes balanced and moderately bitter with a light toasted toffee malt sweetness and a nice citrus hopping. Lengthy aftertaste following a smooth, medium body and a soft, somewhat creamy, moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent DIPA. Nicely hopped with some citrus earth and pines as well as a medium sweet, lightly toasted malt backing. Not bad.

A solid IPA. Nice golden pour with a low white head. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. Flavor is fairly potent with hops and a nice balance of citrus and sweet malts. A little honey to smooth it out.

Draught at brewpub. Malty and sweet. Some dried fruit in there. Alcohol not present. Overall taste not really there.

thedm (6184) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 11, 2012
This draft brew from a beer festival poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was hoppy and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.
