3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
FROM NOTES: August 2, ’12
Poured into a taster glass.
A: Very nice deep malt scent, huge backbone, like a rye and a good citrus/floral aroma.
A: Pours an amber color with a small light brown, copper head that leaves very light lacing down the glass.
T: Subtle hops forward balanced nicely with a semi sweet honey. Caramel notes also evident.
P: Medium bodied, big carbonation.
O: Very drinkable, but not the best DIPA-- or the worst DIPA -- I’ve ever had. I think I’d like to see a little bit more aggressive hop profile.
Rated on 3-27-2017. The appearance of this draft beer is a very small cream head that is fully lasting, transparent orange body, no carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is light citrus hops, light pine hops, fruity, and caramel. The flavor is light-moderate bitterness, citrus hops, fruity, sweet, and caramel. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A very quaffable beer with more bitterness than hops in the taste. The bitterness is not overwhelming by any means. The ABV did sneak in towards the end of the drinking of this beer. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 7, 2017
Clear copper body with a thin ring of off-white head. The nose is very husky with a very minimal hoppiness. A slight cheesy note actually. Not a great start for a DIPA. The flavor is rather sweet, and very lacking in hops given the style. This is really bland and boring. Some light alcohol warmth on the finish. I have a hard time pegging this as a DIPA. Medium bodied with a heavy clinginess from the residual sweetness. Pretty poor DIPA jtclockwork (16831) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 19, 2016

Draft - Grapefruit and nice pithy notes. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Sweet caramel and some grapefruit hops. Not bad. Brewer told us this isn’t the best batch, so it maybe better down the road. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - SEP 29, 2015
copper pour, mostly translucent, capped by an off white head. full body is noticeable immediately, bitterness, toast, glue, grass, pine. nail polish booze is present. meh.

Had this as part of a sampler at Scott's Brewhouse in Indy. Bright orange with white sticky head. Pine and citrus fruity aroma. Taste is carmel, fruits, Malts and citrus. Very good ipa. DWestrick (774) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Tap @ 96th st Indy. Dark pour with decent nose. Not sure the best way to describe this other than its underwhelming for an imperial ipa. Lacks any distinguishing qualities. Still better than a light beer though geeklimit (293) - USA - APR 27, 2014
Strong aroma of pine and citrus hop. Very strong pine hop flavor. Medium astringent taste. Strong alcohol aftertaste with bitter hops. Very sticky mouthfeel.
