Copper colored, nice white head, citrus aroma, citrus and pine taste with a hint of honey, sweet taste with long bitter finish, thick mouthfeel. Great tasting beer with a deceptive ABV. Watch out! 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - JUN 24, 2013
On tap. Pours a clear, deep amber with a thick khaki head that settles to a ring and leaves plenty of clumpy, hanging lace. Nose involves a nice hop bouquet with spicy, citrus, and tropical fruit notes along with some light caramel and biscuit malt notes. I didn’t get much honey, and definitely though I got more "centennial" hop notes than amarillo, probably because of the name. Pretty sweet flavor wise, but also quite bitter, so a nice balance there. Light to medium bodied, crisp, with a largely bitter finish. A really nice DIPA, lots to love. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 9, 2013
Pint on tap at Trion Tavern. After a long day, I was craving some DIPA, and this hit the spot. Clear red / orange color. Thin off-white greyish head. Good spread of lace. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter, crisp carbonation. Pretty easy-drinking. Big piney, grapefruity hops. Spicy hops. Good bigger bitter taste, minimal sweet. Lightly sticky in the finish. Solid, big DIPA, very satisfying. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Draft from notes. Citrus and caramel with a spicy hops and a little yeasty goodness. Very drinkable. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 2, 2011
tap at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy copper and has a big citrus hop aroma with some hints of pine as well. The flavor is dominated by the citrus accented hops and balanced by plenty of backing malts. There are also some notes of caramel and pine. It’s medium to full bodied and very tasty.

Sample at the brewpub today around lunchtime. Pours clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, piney and grassy hops and a bit of citrus. Flavor starts citrusy with some caramel malt, nuts and grassy hops before a tangy citrus finish. Best beer of the bunch out of the five I had from these guys. kaser (6221) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Had this as part of a sampler at Scott's Brewhouse in Indy. Bright orange with white sticky head. Pine and citrus fruity aroma. Taste is carmel, fruits, Malts and citrus. Very good ipa. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 27, 2011
Sampler flight at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a well hazed amber copper pour, darker with an ominous glow, a decent frothy whitish head sits atop and dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are lemons and grapefruit, a touch of pine, moving into biscuits and toffee. Initial is medium bodied, perhaps a touch more with a healthy citrusy and earthy hop bit. Bitter florals and grapefruit, some pine and grass. Nice bitterness, dry and lingering moves into touches of biscuits and toast, maybe some lighter toffee essence. Dry hops stay strong and dominate the palate to the finish. Pine and earthy hops, some lingering citrus. Really nice DIPA to stumble across. Can compete with them. UPDATED: NOV 12, 2011 Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium frothy white head that recedes slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. Piney hops aroma with notes of bready malt and citrus in the background. Medium body with a resiny hops character and flavors of grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering caramel aftertaste. Above average overall. phaleslu (10126) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Draft at Scotty’s Brewhouse in downtown Indianapolis, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear deep golden color with a small white head. Notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, honey, caramel, floral, and apricot. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, juicy, resinous mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Really tasty DIPA.
