Dark pour. Aroma and flavor of coffee, as expected. Body is light with a mild flavor. Smooth with roasted malts. They could have roasted this thing 10 fold. Patrickctenchi (6732) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 30, 2013

Draft to taster. Looks good; cola with foamy beige head. Smells solid; malty and nutty. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced and pleasant, with a slightly off-putting mouthfeel. Meh. phaleslu (10673) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Draft at Scotty’s Brewhouse, served in a pint glass. Pours a dark brown color that’s surprisingly clear, and lighter at the bottom where the glass narrows. Small off-white head. Notes of chocolate, toast, dark fruits, earth, mellow roast, and leaves. Light-bodied, with minimal carbonation and an earthy, watery mouthfeel. Just a little light and undercarbonated. Otherwise, a straightforward porter. Jethro6191 (508) - Indiana, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate aromas. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and toffee flavors. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2012
On tap at the brewpub in Indianapolis, IN. Pours a black body with a finger-width, creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is chocolates, plummy dark fruits, black cherries, a light roast backing, and a touch of biscuit. Flavor is similar. Chocolates, roasts, and some plummy dark fruits up front before some black cherries and a touch of biscuit come in. Finishes dry and lightly bitter from the roasts and a light earthiness. Lengthy aftertaste following a lighter body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an enjoyable porter. Nothing special, but a nice chocolate, roast, and dark fruitiness. Draft sample. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy light brown head that was mostly lasting and excellent lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted chocolate sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.
