larsga (7509) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2011
Medium brown head. Just barely translucent clear deep dark red body with strong carbonation. Roasty smoky bubblegum aroma with lacquer and fruit notes. Now there’s an original combination. Dry-sweetish smoky caramelly roasty taste with lacquer and wood notes. Fullish body. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish roasty pine needles and resin aftertaste with earthy sugary notes. Nice, but a bit of a strange mix of flavours, which don’t gel perfectly. (0.33l bottle, Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.)

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, nuts, honey, and alcohol.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a clear dark reddish brown with a beige head. Hard roast aroma, slightly smoky too. Medium body, sweet roastiness, a little dark fruitiness, carbonation is a little low. Slight maltiness. Not bad but not that interesting either. 130711

brnandersen (3871) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2011
33 cl. bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Black colour with brown hues. Small, lasting off-white head. Sweet and roasted aroma of honey, licorice and dark chocolate - also some notes of smoke. Light to medium sweetness, oily feel, medium body, long finish with smoked notes and honey. Not the best porter I´ve had, but a good try - especially considering the ingredients.

pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2011
Three amigos smeden. On tap at mikkeller... Pours a darker than cola hue, lighter at the edges with a thin flimsy film of offwhite head... Cola, roast, and a touch of chocolate... Flavors are more of the same but with a sweeter profile overall with a touch of residual sugar sweetness lingering on the backend, touch of roast. 7/3/7/4/14

BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2011
33cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2011, with honey, thx to Jeppe!, complex smoked Porter, fruity and slightly roasted, yet easy to drink, balanced, clear, nearly no head, good brew

3.3
Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 16, 2011
0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Very dark reddish brown color. Thick aroma of chocolate, raisins, soap, orange. Gently roasty flavor with peculiar herbal-soapy bitterness. Tastes of honey, coffee, chocolate and forest berries (mesimarja). Bittersweet finish. A bit controversial, nice complexity, but too many elements which are not in balance, are combined.
