330 ml bottle at Hasse. Near black with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, light liquorice, dark chocolate, plums and some alcohol. Taste is thinner than expected, dark chocolate, wood, vinous notes, alcohol and light resin (strangely enough) Svesse (8952) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2012
(Bottle) Dark reddish brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, liquorice, honey, treacle, black rye bread, raisins, burnt sugar and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, honey, burnt sugar and a gentle cacao bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, slightly sweetish. Nice one. Almost black with a brown head. Chocolate and coffee in the aroma, hints of smoke. Some bitterness. Drier than i thought it would be. Joakgust (1502) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 20, 2012
Bottle, 33cl - Black opaque beer with a small head. Aroma is malty with notes of chocolate, raisins, nuts toast and some vanilla. Flavor is malty with notes of nuts, toast, chocolate and some coffee. Surprisingly thin for a beer this strong, not a fan. TEJA (3347) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2012
Medium thick but lasting, brown head.
Dark brown color.
Soy and some chocolate and old stale coffey in the aroma but where is the smoke? Not much smoke in the taste eigther. Dark maltiness with a litle hard malt taste that clings on that toghether with the hops make it a litle unbalanced.
