Can from beer hive. Pours clear golden, thin white head. Aromas of citrus, light caramel. Taste is thin and watery, bitter. GlassBrass440 (321) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 18, 2014
From can. No date. Somewhat like an American pale ale. Big hop character in the nose. Catty and herbal. Not what I typically expect from "100% Nelson hops". Flavor carries the aroma through before shifting to a generic malt profile and an assertive bitterness that coats the tongue and sticks around for just enough time that you miss it when it’s gone. Color is gold with a light reddish hue. Pillowy, lasting, white head. I’d swear this is an APA (and a decent one), rather than a blonde ale. neverleaveopen (254) - GERMANY - MAR 6, 2014
clear light golden with a tall foamy head. aroma of grass and floral notes. well-balanced taste. beer-yum (1656) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 21, 2013
Handpulled at Hashigo Zake. An enjoyable session strength ale that was rushed down when a 6.5 magnitude quake hit the city! Will have another when things calm down for sure. tejonno (11) - NEW ZEALAND - JAN 11, 2013
Straw-coloured beer, initial taste is hops but not massive. Kinda fruity (Im not experienced enough at this to know quite which fruits though!),, kinda sweet, no tartness usually associated with the hoppy beers. Not much taste on the nose - perhaps I needed to let it warm up a bit more after taking it out of the fridge? Well balanced, fun summer ale.
