3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from a 500mL bottle. Almost black, with a decent tan head. This beer has moderate chocolate and burnt malt aroma. It tastes similar also, with a long finish. The burnt malts slightly dominate the chocolate. Slightly one dimensional for my liking, and perhaps a bit thin for a stout. Typical light stout carbonation. This beer seems to get good reviews, so I might revisit at a later date. But for now, it seemed just average to me.
500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, fruity hints of bramble and blueberry, a touch of cocoa. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, subtle dark malty sweetness, fruity hints of bramble and blueberry, notes of dark chocolate, an ashy touch. From Labirratorium. In Ikea’s pint glass. Watching Arrival. The oysters provides between salty and sweet notes that are pleasant but do not stand out enough to make it something exceptional rosenbergh (11613) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 10, 2017

Rich, dark, chocolate malts, pralines, liquorice. Black, small, creamy, dark beige head. Light sweet. More rich chocolate, creamy texture, dark, toasted malts, coffee, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Stout, rich and complex, well-balanced. Keg at BrewDog, Shepherd’s Bush.
