Cask @ Nag Head. Pours clear amber with a small creamy off white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, bready and straw. Flavor is malty, fruity, a bit soapy, some caramel sweetness and has a goid bitter bite. Finishes longlived bitter and malty.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Golden amber in colour with a thin white head that laces the glass nicely; floral aroma, perhaps elderflower?; the flavour is full of zingy citrus fruit; before a surprisingly complex finish for a beer of this kind - some sweet grapefruit over a floury body to start and then a pleasingly sustained dry bitterness. Rather good.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A slightly hazy one, golden in color and topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is hop dominated, fruity and citrusy, slightly grassy and with a hint of sour berries. The flavor has much the same hoppyness, some maltyness in the back, but it lacks on bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Citrusy finish with some acidity. Overall, quenching, but not a beer I’ll miss. 110319
