A quite nice chocolate porter. Pours a deep, thick black with a tan head. Smells of chocolate, and a hint of cinnamon. Taste is very creamy, with lots of chocolate, some vanilla and cinnamon, and a bit of coffee. Had in the bottle. jake65 (3986) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Can. Pours a medium depth brown color with a thin beige head. Nose is roast and chocolate, more emphasis on the chocolate. Good roast flavor and again chocolate. Lightly bittersweet. A little thin in the body, but overall pretty good. Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - OCT 22, 2015
22oz bottle obtained through Tavour. Three Creeks FivePine Chocolate Porter is a very nearly black brown beer with a good head of tan bubbles. Nose is rich deeply roasted malt. Mocha, dark chocolate and cocoa. Taste is like a mildly chocolate dark roasted coffee. Hints of nuts just shy of bitter. Body is pretty much medium without any frills. A nice porter. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 11, 2015
Average look and feel. Nice chocolatey aroma and flavor. More bitter than sweet. Not a ton of complexity, but enjoyable. stevoj (5440) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 1, 2015
Pours out a dark brown with minimal beige head, kind of airy, tiny bits of lacing. Aroma is normal, but flavor is where this one is at. Chocolaty, roast grains with bit of bitterness at the back, mildly sweet finish. Nice porter.

Black color, light brown head. Malty, roasted, cocoa scent. Malty, cocoa, roasted taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Dark brown with off white head. Interesting aroma with a touch of stink on it. The taste is a little better with some chocolate malt coming through with some bitterness on the back end. Decent, but nothing special. Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - FEB 15, 2015
Poured from tap to glass. Brown hue with creamy off white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is chocolate, straw, faint roast. Mouthfeel is a bit lacking with a medium light body and soft carbonation. Taste is dry with a slight roasted finish. Overall this beer is a bit lacking in depth and complexity. Arayaga2 (2254) - portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 14, 2015
Very dark brown with a half in ch of dense tan head. Aroma is chocolate and nuts, and taste is the same, with rich coffee notes. It’s a touch sweet, but clean enough to be drinkable.$1.5/12oz mjg74 (3157) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 9, 2015
Bomber from Roth’s. 6.2%. Just about pitch black in color. Lightly roasted nose, with a bit of bitter coffee and anise. Dry bitter roastiness. Some anise and some more roasty coffee. A little bit of milk sugar as well. Drinkable porter.
