Serving: from bottle--purchased at Made in Oregon. Aroma: light chocolate malt. Appearance: average-sized, creamy, light-brown, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark reddish-brown body. Taste: moderate roasted malt initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with long duration. Palate: medium body with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: this is an outstanding porter. Great flavor and not overly acidic.

Can, bought in Oregon. Sweet chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt and a bit of caramel. Pours dark brown with half a finger of light brown head that has good retention and very good lacing. Starts with roasted malt and a bit of caramel to go along with a medium body and a creamy mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and a bit dry with chocolate sweetness becoming prevalent especially near the end. Nice, drinkable porter.

Shared 22oz bottle with friends. Pours a very dark brew with a light tan head. Aroma is caramel and chocolate. Medium body. Flavor dark chocolate and coffee with a creaminess that is very nice. Finish is short but sweet toasty malt, chocolate, and a bit of vanilla...nice!

Aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can. A: Mahogany color, creme head, some lacing. N: Cocoa, pine, coffee, burnt toast, malt, some vanilla, lactose, touch of brown sugar. T: Decently sweet, lightly bitter. M: Medium light body, touch of alcohol burn, crisp carbonation. O: Decent chocolate porter. Plenty of chocolate flavor, and theres a good underlying base beer here. Worthy.

On Tap at Taphouse, Boise Dark brown black with a brief tan head Robust porter, lots of dark chocolate roasted malt aromas and flavors. Lacking the thin sourness that a lot of porters have. Modest wiskey flavors.

A quite nice chocolate porter. Pours a deep, thick black with a tan head. Smells of chocolate, and a hint of cinnamon. Taste is very creamy, with lots of chocolate, some vanilla and cinnamon, and a bit of coffee. Had in the bottle.
