Aroma: light chocolate malt.
Appearance: average-sized, creamy, light-brown, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark reddish-brown body.
Taste: moderate roasted malt initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with long duration.

Overall: this is an outstanding porter. Great flavor and not overly acidic.
22 oz bottle poured. Dark near reddish brown pour. Rocky tan foam head. Chocolate forward aroma as expected. Chocolate cream body, flavor is a milk chocolate front. Toasty malt throughout, but they did a good job making this a constant true chocolate porter, front to back. Not really sweet either. Draft - Dark roast and nutty notes. Jet brown with a small light brown head. Light caramel and roast with a mellow finish. Much lighter in body and taste than expected for the ABV and chocolate doesn’t really pop. zoucrew102 (2249) - - DEC 30, 2016
Can, bought in Oregon. Sweet chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt and a bit of caramel. Pours dark brown with half a finger of light brown head that has good retention and very good lacing. Starts with roasted malt and a bit of caramel to go along with a medium body and a creamy mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and a bit dry with chocolate sweetness becoming prevalent especially near the end. Nice, drinkable porter. vulcanmeister (306) - La Grande, Oregon, USA - DEC 4, 2016
Shared 22oz bottle with friends. Pours a very dark brew with a light tan head. Aroma is caramel and chocolate. Medium body. Flavor dark chocolate and coffee with a creaminess that is very nice. Finish is short but sweet toasty malt, chocolate, and a bit of vanilla...nice!
