Ferris (16296) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 26, 2017
Draft - Dark roast and nutty notes. Jet brown with a small light brown head. Light caramel and roast with a mellow finish. Much lighter in body and taste than expected for the ABV and chocolate doesn’t really pop.

Can, bought in Oregon. Sweet chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt and a bit of caramel. Pours dark brown with half a finger of light brown head that has good retention and very good lacing. Starts with roasted malt and a bit of caramel to go along with a medium body and a creamy mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and a bit dry with chocolate sweetness becoming prevalent especially near the end. Nice, drinkable porter.

Shared 22oz bottle with friends. Pours a very dark brew with a light tan head. Aroma is caramel and chocolate. Medium body. Flavor dark chocolate and coffee with a creaminess that is very nice. Finish is short but sweet toasty malt, chocolate, and a bit of vanilla...nice!

Can. A: Mahogany color, creme head, some lacing. N: Cocoa, pine, coffee, burnt toast, malt, some vanilla, lactose, touch of brown sugar. T: Decently sweet, lightly bitter. M: Medium light body, touch of alcohol burn, crisp carbonation. O: Decent chocolate porter. Plenty of chocolate flavor, and there’s a good underlying base beer here. Worthy.

IndianaRed (4937) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 18, 2015
On Tap at Taphouse, Boise Dark brown black with a brief tan head Robust porter, lots of dark chocolate roasted malt aromas and flavors. Lacking the thin sourness that a lot of porters have. Modest wiskey flavors.
